Holograms & Lasers International first began in 1993 with a hologram store and pulsed ruby laser holography lab located in "The Park Shops" mall of downtown Houston. The six thousand square foot facility featured a magnificent retail storefront filled with a stunning variety of 3D holograms, laser pointers & unique gifts.

A state-of-the-art ruby pulse laser system and holography lab could be viewed from the retail store where customers could learn about the fascinating science and art of holography, lasers and light. The mysteries of the mystical and somewhat magical three dimensional hologram pictures were unveiled to new visitors and customers from all over the country and world as they came to visit the downtown Houston business centers for diversified industries in space technology, oil & gas and the world renowned medical center.

The popular store attracted many visitors who marveled at the life-like celebrity hologram portraits and the amusing and colorful display of hologram products including the hologram pictures, hologram jewelry, hologram watches, hologram stickers and the stunning display of limited edition hologram art.

Upon assembly of the world's greatest collection of hologram art and images, Holograms & Lasers International made their Internet debut at Holoshop.com in 1995, introducing a collection of nearly 1000 unique holograms.

During the course of the years to follow, HLI expanded sales of hologram products and traditional holography lasers to include an extensive variety of the new diode laser technology products and industrial laser systems. The laser diode module-based products included both consumer finished laser diode modules and products such as the popular green laser pointers, laser gun sights, laser watches and laser light shows to also include an assortment of excellent quality laser diode sub-assemblies with driver circuits and diode pumped solid state (DPSS) green laser module kits complete with power stabilized (APC) and current stabilized (ACC) driver circuits.

The HLI commercial and wholesale products division also offers a complete line of quality engraved laser pointers, laser engraved pens, and personalized logo imprinted laser products for commercial and corporate trade promotions.
